Things people ask before signing up.
How quickly is my server set up?
Automatically, as soon as the payment clears. In practice that is about a minute for both game servers and web hosting. Your panel login arrives by email and you can start configuring straight away. There is no approval queue and no setup fee.
Where are your servers located?
In our own data centre in the United Kingdom. We do not rent space on somebody else's cloud and put our name on it, so your data sits on hardware we own and manage, and it does not leave the country. That keeps you inside UK GDPR by default and keeps ping short for British players.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, 14 days on your first purchase of any plan. If it is not right, email support@echohost.co.uk within those 14 days and you get the money back in full, no interrogation. Renewals are not covered, so if you are leaving, cancel before the next invoice goes out. The Terms of Service spell this out.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Any time, up or down. You pay the difference pro-rata for the days left in the month rather than starting a fresh one. On game servers it is usually a restart rather than a rebuild, so your world, configs and installed addons all survive the move.
