Questions worth answering first.
Which tier do I actually need?
As a rough guide, count your busiest realistic player number and add a bit of headroom, then look at how many addons you run. Addons eat more memory than players do. If you are not sure, send us your player count and mod list and we will tell you which tier fits rather than selling you the biggest one.
Can I move up a tier later?
Yes, and it is charged pro-rata for the days left in the month. On game servers an upgrade is normally a restart rather than a rebuild, so your world, configs and addons carry over untouched.
Do I get full file access?
Yes, on every tier. Pterodactyl gives you a file manager in the browser and SFTP if you would rather work locally. There is no approved-addons list and nothing is read-only.
What happens if I get attacked?
DDoS filtering is on from the moment the server boots, upstream of your machine, so legitimate players stay connected while the junk is dropped. Read the SLA for what we do and do not commit to.
