We are a UK-owned host running our own hardware in our own data centre, for game communities and small businesses who need their servers up and someone sensible to talk to when they are not.
Our story
Why Echo Host exists.
Echo Host was started around one idea: fast, reliable, bulletproof hosting, running on infrastructure that never skips a beat.
Most of our web customers are small businesses, and most of them have been burned before by a host that answered on day one and went quiet after that. So we do it the slow way: you get a person who knows your setup, a straight answer when there is a decision to make, and a platform that stays up underneath it. Not a ticket queue and a link to an article.
The other half of the business is games, and we care about that just as much. Low latency, and full control of the box. Mods, plugins, file access and a live console are part of the plan rather than something sold back to you once you are committed.

We own the hardware, the racks and the network. That is why we can tell you exactly where your data lives, and exactly what we are committing to when we quote a number.
Our own UK data centre
No reselling and no third-party cloud in the middle. Your services sit on hardware we own, in racks we can walk into.
Redundant networking
Multiple upstream providers and redundant switching, so one link or one device failing does not take your service with it.
NVMe throughout
Every host in the fleet runs NVMe storage. No spinning disks, no shared-platter contention, on any plan we sell.
Monitoring every 60 seconds
Each public service is checked every 60 seconds, and the result is published live rather than kept to ourselves.
99.9% uptime, written down and measured
Our service level agreement commits to 99.9% availability and pays service credits when we miss it. The live state of every service is public, all of the time, so you never have to take our word for it.

You reach someone who runs the platform, not a first-line script. Cover is 09:00–22:00 UK, every day, with urgent infrastructure issues handled around the clock.
Growth
Start on the smallest tier that does the job and move up the moment you outgrow it. Upgrades are pro-rata and take minutes, so growing costs you nothing in downtime.
What we don't do
Just as important as what we do.
Some of what makes hosting good is a list of things you decide against. This is how we have chosen to run Echo Host, not a comment on anybody else's organisation.
- No overselling. We size our hosts so the resources you pay for are the resources that are actually there.
- No lock-in contracts. Monthly plans stay monthly. Cancel when it suits you, without ringing anyone to ask permission.
- No first-year pricing that triples on renewal. The price you sign up on is the price you renew on.
- No outsourced support. Every reply comes from someone on our own team who works on the platform you are hosted on.
- No charging extra for SSL or backups. They are part of running a site or a server properly, so they are included.
